Rod,
That has got to be the one of the greatest horses ever.  If I was a rich man, I would
do my best to buy him. He is a real beauty. Talk more later.  That is a very, very well trained horse and the attention
that he pays to you when you are working with him is just amazing.

John

Rod,
I just had a minute to check out your new video. As I said before, you are certainly
going to  miss him when he leaves. He appears to be a completely different horse
than I saw before  training had begun. You BOTH are amazing.
Congratulations on your achievement!!
Susan

I got on your website to show watch Austin's videos again. You can imagine my
surprise      when I saw Ty's first video ... quite unexpected! "Oh, My Gosh" is
correct! I am SO incredibly happy with the progress you have made with my
beautiful boy in LESS THAN ONE WEEK! I told you before and I will say it again
... you ARE a horse whisperer! I am so thankful to GOD and Bonnie for
introducing me to you. Ty deserves the best trainer and he has just that ... YOU!

If someone wants their horse "broke" ... they can keep looking. If they want their
horse  trained, their search ends when they pick up the phone and call you.

HUGE hugs,
Mona

Rod,
I am SO incredibly proud of both you and Ty! I know my boy has a lot of training
ahead of him. With you as his teacher, he can’t help but be the BEST and I know he
will be! He is eager to learn and you are making it fun for him to learn. I already have
The World’s Best Trainer and you are turning Ty into “The World’s Best Horse”! Hot-
dang! This is great!!!!

I can’t wait to see you and Ruth (Bubby Ty, too, of course!) this Friday!

Hi Rod

A big Thank You to both you and Ruth for making me and Marti so welcome this past
weekend. We both felt like we were "home away from home". You two are the BEST
and I can hardly wait to come back.

The happiness and contentment in his eyes is breathtakingly beautiful. Sending Ty to you
was the greatest gift I could have given him and he deserves every second of it.

One of these days I will find the exact words to express the joy I feel in my heart. For
now - the only thing I can come up with is "THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!"

Oh, yes! Before I forget (grin and a wink)... did you know I got to RIDE my handsome
boy this past weekend?? It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is such a HOTTY!!! Good
gosh! I LOVE my boy and am so PROUD of him!!

Many, many huge hugs to both you and Ruth,
Mona

This came right off of Yahoo's Business web-site reviews

We can't say enough good things about High Trial Arabians. Rod worked with my
daughter, myself and our big baby Derby ( Tenn walker). We've only been able to
have a few lessons due to the weather. In those few lessons we we're amazed to see
how fast he's methods worked. We know that our horses would be safe with Rod,
His methods are kind and effective. We are looking forward to more lessons with
High Trail Arabians.
We are very blessed to have such a great Trainer with in our area.

This came from Bonnie Lorenzen after she saw Austin's farewell video.

I just wanted to let you  know that you really made my Day !
I was just sitting here at my office, thinking about my new foals coming this
year, Cupcake and Austin coming home and then appears a video from you!  I
started to cry !
I cannot tell you how pleased I have been with you  training with my horses.
In my desperate time of need, you also have helped by extending Austin's  stay
at your farm, which I know it inconvenienced you,  allowing me to have Austin's
board time extended at your farm, and having to install more fencing to
accommodate Austin.
Its so refreshing to know that I finally found a trainer that I can trust with
my horses, that understands horses, has the patience, love and understanding,
and  takes his training serious and cares about his customers.
I highly recommend  you as one of the most professional, sincere and honest
trainers that I have met.
I   will keep sending my horses to you for training.  I know I have the expense
of shipping, but you cannot put a price tag on your TRAINING ! YOU ARE THE
BEST ! You are not only a great horse trainer, but a real true horseman!

Sincerely,
Bonnie Lorenzen

This came from Mona Dadisman ( Mona sent Bubby Ty up from N.C. )

You bring tears to MY eyes every time I think about Ty or see one of his videos. I
really do hope you realize just what an incredible gift you have given Bubby and what
it means to me. In my honest opinion, it is nothing short of a miracle. That check I
send every month in no way will ever repay you for what you have given Bubby and
me. You will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart for the gift you have given us
and continue to give us. Words will never be able to express just how I feel. You ARE
the best trainer and I consider myself very honored to have Ty with you and to call
you "my friend".

Many thanks and hugs,
Mona

This came from Nancy Bliss and Abby Murphy of AraBliss Arabians in Lebanon Ky.

Rod and Ruth,
Thank you both so much for the wonderful weekend.
Ruth you kept us fed and we appreciate it.  We didn't intend for you to go to any
trouble but it was sure good.
Rod.  What can I say.  I was again amazed at how effective your methods are and
was so happy to be able to apply some of your techniques. I'm anxious to work with
Sahar tomorrow and may even try a little on one of the others. Think I'll take it slow
for now. Sahar will be such a nice ridding horse and may even be good at showing.
I hope so.
Thank you again for all your time and patience, especially the patience part.  You
have taught Abby and I a whole lot in a very short time.
Thank you, thank you,
Nancy and Abby

Dear Rod,
I've written this recommendation of your work to share with other LinkedIn users.

Details of the Recommendation: "Rod had to work with the most difficult horse I've
ever dealt with in my life. He always had a positive outlook towards the horse and,
even though the horse doesn't typically bond to other people, he bonded to Rod and
tried very hard for him. As long as I use Rod's techniques, the horse behaves
great!!!! Mission accomplished."

This E-mail came from Kerry after watching Townline's second video. Townline came
here for manners and to learn how to canter under saddle. He was trained as a racing
pacer and retired to Kerry's care after four years on the track.

.................................................................................................................................

Wow!!!!  How awesome was that?!!  He looked SO GREAT!  I never thought I'd see
the day that he A) trotted so nicely under saddle B) responded to leg commands and
C) CANTER under saddle!!! You've done such a nice job with him, Rod!  Thank you
so much for all of your hard work with him. I realize he's still learning, but he looked
really good. I can't wait to see him!

See you Saturday!

Kerry :)

Horse Training :)
To:rodhta

I just wanted to say how much I adore watching your training videos. I have been training for 8 years and
I have much, much, much to learn. I just love your interaction with each horse you work with. At some
point in the future, I would love to get a chance to come watch you work in person...for now, youtube
tides me over ;) I love watching your videos because they are sooo inspiring. I thoroughly enjoy watching
you start your young horses under saddle...it is so boring and uneventful, which is exactly what it should
be. I just love how relaxed and content your horses are with everything. This is the type of training that I
pursue, as I said, I am forever learning.

I wanted to say thank you for being a horseman of Integrity,

That was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I made a mistake and watched it on my computer. I’m going to run it on Roku now.
Rod, you have such a talent for just about everything!! I loved seeing you star in your own movie.
And, what could be better than sharing the screen with Sharon Stone, Russell Crow, Gene Hackman.
I hope it’s okay, I’m sending this to a few friends. I’ll wait to hear from you before I do. I don’t want to step on toes.

Wonderful, Wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

I recently visited a good friend of mine at High Trails Arabians Ranch in Kentucky.  Rod and Ruth
McCracken have a beautiful place and from what I could tell, not being a horseman, have developed a
wonderful training facility there at their place.
I was truly impressed with their attention to detail and the care and superb training they give all their
horses and owners.

What impressed me the most was Rod’s devotion to and excellent skills in teaching.  Although friends for
many years I was not aware of his uniqueness.  I am a retired university trainer of teachers from a College
of Education at a University in Florida where I spent 37 years, and Rod exhibits qualities of teaching that I
always held as the highest standard to strive for with my students with some never attaining despite all
my efforts.  His philosophy is based on sound human learning characteristics and he teaches his
students through a logical sequence of information and practical experiences with patience,
understanding, reasoning, compassion and intrinsic reward.   I do not know where he learned his
techniques but I’m sure his skills have come from personal experiences and a natural gift.

My wish is that anyone needing quality instruction should contact Mr. Rod McCracken for an experience
they will never forget.

Hi Rod,
I want to take the time to do a testimonial for your training.  You have worked wonders with my three
horses.  I think especially Rusty because he was such a fearful little guy.  Now he is so much more
reliable and affectionate not to mention confident and happy.
Pepper my sweet gray mare was so receptive to your methods.  She was like a seasoned trail horse when
I rode her on your trails for the first time.
Maggie my bay mare could be somewhat of a stinker at times but she came home very obedient and
happy.  All of the horses came home happy and confident.  Their personalities were not diluted.  They
were just happy to work and have fun.
I am looking forward to sending my last baby  Scooter to you for level 1.  I don't think there is a better way
to start a young horse.
On another note we have so enjoyed your company and visiting your beautiful farm.  The facilities and
the care the horses receive is great.  You and Ruth are very dear friends to us.
Thanks for everything,
Chris
Susan MC from Barnesville, Ohio comments via e-mail after reading the article about our newly forming mounted
shooting club in the news paper.
Well, now. Look at you. You have become even more famous.
So proud of you, Rod,-- and all that you do there at HTA.
This looks like it will really take off. And, since you are the only one in the state, I’ll bet you get more
members soon.
Something to be said about Rod McCracken is that he is ready to take the initiative to try new things.
What’s even better, those new things are always innovative and exciting for those involved.
Even though I’m not there to enjoy your new adventure, I sure do like seeing and reading about it.
Best of luck and keep me posted.

Susan
